Moving into a new office can be a daunting task, but a good moving company can make the process go much more smoothly. The most important thing you can do is ensure you’re working with trustworthy and reliable office movers in Johns Creek, GA. Here are 4 important things to look for when hiring your office movers.
Professional Attitude
Your corporate movers in Johns Creek, GA, should be friendly but have a professional attitude when dealing with you and your staff. You’ll be entrusting them with important documents, expensive equipment, and valuable merchandise. It’s vital that they’re able to handle all of your property with care and respect. Most of the time, you can determine how seriously someone takes a job by talking with them and going over the details of what you need. You can also get recommendations from friends or colleagues who have worked with moving companies in the past.
Experience
One of the worst things you can do is try to save money by hiring a friend with a rental truck to move your office equipment. Your equipment needs to be protected from damage during the move, and the best way to ensure that is by working with commercial moving services in Johns Creek, GA, who are used to handling delicate equipment. This is especially important in certain fields, such as medical offices, which have extremely specialized, delicate, and expensive equipment.
The Right Equipment
Make sure your movers have the right equipment for the job, and that it’s all in good condition. Their trucks should be clean and have plenty of tie-downs and padding to reduce the chances of jostling. Hand trucks and other moving equipment should likewise be present and in good shape.
Licensed and Insured
Finally, make sure your movers are qualified by checking to see if they’re officially licensed and insured. This type of documentation proves that the moving company is serious about the work it does. It also helps protect you from financial loss if any of your belongings are damaged during transport.

Thanks for the tips. I have a hard time getting rid of old stuff, but you are right if I have not used it in the last year I need to get rid of it. I am sure some of it could go to people in need, so I would be doing good by getting rid of my old stuff. I also really like the idea of having less stuff to pack.
